Daily statistics from the state health department for the last few days show that the number of cases from Kolkata to Darjeeling district is higher.
According to sources, the ‘Global Advisory Committee’ has advised to increase surveillance on all the people who will enter North Bengal from North-East India. According to health camp sources, negative report of RTPCR test on the plane is mandatory. But also by road and rail a lot of people came to this state from the north-east. Therefore, strict surveillance has been planned at Siliguri bus terminus. All passengers coming on the bus from Assam must have a negative report of RTPCR test or a certificate of taking the second dose of antidote.
