Majumdar has rejected West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s affirms and accused Trinamool Congress (TMC), party workers, of the violence that occurred on Tuesday (September 13) in Kolkata.
The TMC worker has made people creep into the campaign and instigate a violence. Police have also provoked it too and stopped people at railway stations. BJP WB chief said we will start out “‘jail bharo andolan” after Durga Puja,”
On Wednesday, Mamata Banerjee accused BJP workers in the state of escalating violence during protests against her government and said action would be taken against those creating nuisance.“Citizens were trashed and vandalized and destroyed the public properties. Mamata Banerjee said “‘You people cannot bring goons and bombs in the name of protests. Remember, police and flounce elements cannot go together. No anti-social activity will get any cover under the garb of politics, the police will take action if this thing happens,”
she added “The police officers have fired in the air in the protest but they had very measured in their response. This cannot happen, you cannot book trains and bring people from other states to create havoc in Bengal,”.
