West Bengal government has allowed salons and beauty parlors to operate at 50% capacity

The West Bengal government has relaxed the Covid restrictions and allowed salons and beauty parlors to operate at 50 % capacity. Now, salons and beauty parlors in the state can operate at 50 % seating capacity until 10 p.m.

Owners and management have been asked to ensure that employees and customers are fully vaccinated and all Covid protocols, including regular sanitation in the workplace, are properly followed.

West Bengal reported 17,213 new covid-19 cases on Friday which was more than the previous day.

There are 51,384 active cases in the state, where in the last 24 hours 8,912 patients have recovered from the disease. Since Thursday, 69,158 samples have been tested in West Bengal.
