Despite often being in controversy, especially after his (in)famous episode with Salman Khan in 2003, there is no denying that Vivek Oberoi is a great actor. The 46-year-old made his debut with Ram Gopal’s gangster drama Company and immediately followed it up with a romantic role in Shaad Ali’s Saathiya. Both films became blockbusters and established the actor’s versatility. However, post that his career sank, due to controversies, a few years back, when he started to find his footing again, with some brilliant performances, mostly in OTT.
In a recent interview, the actor opened up about his career lows and said that a strong lobby of people is trying to bring him down. Elaborating further, the Shootout at Lokhandwala actor said that despite giving huge hits and garnering great reviews, he had zero work and was just sitting at home, all because of people who didn’t want to see his success.
OTT has given him opportunities that the big screen could not, Vivek added that now, he has let bygones be bygones and is looking forward to some juicy roles in his upcoming projects.
