Vivek Agnihotri attacked veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah when he said that it is disturbing that movies like The Kashmir Files and Ghadar 2 are becoming massively popular. In an exclusive interview, when Vivek was asked to react to Naseeruddin’s comments, the director said that the actor probably feels ‘exposed’ to the truth of The Kashmir File and ‘likes to support terrorists’ but he doesn’t.
Vivek Agnihotri said, “I am a huge fan of Naseer Saab so I cast him in The Tashkent File. But I don’t know late why he is old and if so I shouldn’t say anything. Sometimes, people are disappointed about many things, or he feels that some truth about him is being revealed with the Kashmir file. People generally don’t like being naked in front of people through someone else’s art. There is something wrong, what Naseer is saying is not right.”
He added: “I mean he’s happy to do films that support genocide, he’s acted in films that support genocide, maybe because of his religion or because of his depression. For whatever reason, maybe he likes to support terrorists, not me. I don’t care what Naseer says because I have zero tolerance for terrorism, maybe he loves them and I don’t care. “
