This is the first time an Indian comedian won award internationally as actor-comedian Vir Das who won the International Emmy Award for Comedy for his Netflix special ‘Vir Das: Landing’. When he arrived India he said that this is the first award for Indian comedy internationally but not the last as many comedian can win this after him. He also said that because of comedian like Johny Lever and people who have come before us it was possible to win this award.
This is actually a very big achievement for Indian comedian and people should admire it. In reality comedian life is very difficult as they always need to maintain limit as their work is to make people laugh. Some time comedian forget what they are actually taking about which can make people even more angry. Doing comedy is an art and people in this path should learn it properly so that its standard is maintained. People should respect that how difficult it is to do comedy and most important how Indian comedy is becoming successful around the world.
