Violators of Silchar to pay fine; road safety campaign

Due to the rising number of vehicles in Silchar, Assam the authorities have launched awareness campaign to promote safety across the city.

District Administration and Cachar Police has initiated traffic rules including use helmet, seat belt, refrain from parking in unauthorised areas.

As per the initiative, the authorities have deployed police van if violated fines to be imposed with immediate effect.
