Vi has launched a new range of flexible International Roaming (IR) plans for postpaid customers, introducing fresh 7-day, 14-day and 21-day validity packs aimed at offering greater convenience and flexibility for overseas travellers during the summer season. The telecom operator said the new offerings have been designed to cater to the growing and diverse travel needs of customers travelling abroad for business, education, medical tourism and leisure purposes. With the latest additions, Vi’s international roaming portfolio now includes 17 different IR packs with validity options ranging from one day to 30 days.
According to the company, the plans cover more than 120 countries and include a mix of limited and truly unlimited data, voice and SMS benefits. Vi stated that it remains the only telecom operator offering unlimited voice and data benefits across 41 key international destinations. Customers can also purchase and manage the packs digitally through the Vi App.
Commenting on the launch, Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone Idea, said international travel requirements are becoming increasingly dynamic and the new roaming plans are aimed at giving customers greater flexibility and peace of mind while staying connected abroad.
