Veranda Learning Solutions targets Rs 600 crore revenue in FY25 amid expansions

Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd is setting its sights on achieving a revenue target of ₹600 crore for the financial year 2025. At its recent Annual General Meeting on September 27, 2024, the company approved a significant borrowing limit of ₹1,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures and bonds, aimed at supporting its aggressive growth strategies.

In the first quarter of FY25, Veranda reported an impressive operating revenue of ₹118.99 crore, marking a substantial 72.69% increase compared to ₹68.90 crore in the previous year. The company’s EBITDA skyrocketed fivefold to ₹27.61 crore, demonstrating enhanced operational efficiency. Veranda’s recent initiatives include launching two innovative short courses in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney, targeting working professionals in India. Additionally, the company has expanded its presence in the Middle East through a partnership with Jumeira University, offering a Chartered Accountancy preparation course in the UAE.

Kolkata is witnessing a growing demand for quality education, aligning perfectly with Veranda’s plans to expand its Cambridge educational programs across 500 schools in Eastern India. This move is expected to enhance the region’s educational infrastructure and equip students with global competencies, ensuring Veranda remains a key player in the evolving EdTech landscape.
