Varda Goenka Fine Jewels by Diagold unveiled its latest collections, The Patiala Jewels and Jodhpur Jadau, in a grand fashion event on February 28 at The Dockyard Company, on the banks of the River Ganges. The showcase celebrated India’s regal heritage through exquisite craftsmanship and artistic storytelling.
The event featured three tableaus depicting India’s royal traditions. The first tableau honored Bengali Zamindars, with models in traditional attire presenting intricate jewelry through dance performances. The second tableau blended elegance and movement against a clock tower backdrop. The final tableau captured the grandeur of Rajgharanas, with models adorned in luxurious ensembles. The evening concluded with a spectacular fashion walk, where models displayed the finest pieces from both collections.
The Patiala Jewels collection, inspired by the treasures of the Patiala royal family, showcased dazzling diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and pearls. The Jodhpur Jadau collection paid tribute to Rajasthan’s craftsmanship, featuring Polki diamonds, emeralds, and rubies in regal designs.
“Kolkata’s jewelry market has long been a hub for heritage designs, and this collection resonates with the city’s love for regal craftsmanship. The fusion of traditional and contemporary elements aligns with the preferences of discerning buyers in the region,” said a local jeweler.
Varda Goenka, Founder & Creative Director, emphasized the brand’s vision: “Jewelry is not just an accessory; it is a reflection of history, culture, and timeless beauty.” The event reinforced Diagold’s reputation as a torchbearer of luxury and heritage.
