Vaccine sites will be set up for children aged 15 years and over. On Tuesday, Union Health Secretary has taken this decision in a meeting with states. It was also decided that those above 60 years of age could get a precautionary dose without a certificate from the doctor. However, they must consult with their physicians before taking that.
On 25th December, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that for children between the ages of 15 to 18 will begin vaccination from 3rd January 2022.
The Health Secretary Rakesh Bhushan said, “All those who aged 15 years or more will be able to register on Co-WlN. Registration and appointment services can be accessed through both the online and offline modes.”
