Uttar Pradesh: Over 100 people convert to Hinduism in Khurja says BJP MLA Minakshi Singh

100-125 people from 20 families belonging to different religions converted into Hinduism on Sunday, Khurja BJP MLA Minakshi Singh said. According to the president of a social organisation, the conversion took place during a “Ghar Vapasi” programme organised by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), a right-wing outfit.

In this event, people who had left “Sanatan Dharma” few years back because of their situation or confusion have adopted to the Hinduism again, Singh said.

They have taken an oath to worship Sri Ram, Sri Krishna and other Sanatan gods , deities from now onwards, she said.

A legal procedures were also carried out in the event. All the families have given their assent in affidavits before the rituals were started, the MLA added.
