Following a successful debut in Goa earlier this year, Queenfisher aims to celebrate the essence of sisterhood and inclusivity in these new territories. The official launch event took place on May 18th at Exotica Green in Guwahati, marking the expansion of the Queenfisher brand. Attendees were treated to an unveiling of the brand’s iconic calendar, now dubbed The Galendar, which showcases real-life stories of women captured by photographer Avani Rai.
Each page of The Galendar features QR codes that unlock short films directed by Kopal Naithani, highlighting moments of sisterhood. Queenfisher’s packaging reflects its commitment to inclusivity, featuring diverse women’s silhouettes against a vibrant purple backdrop. The iconic Kingfisher bird is uplifted and crowned as a tribute to the queens celebrated by the campaign. Rooted in the ethos of Kingfisher, Queenfisher aims to create a safe space for meaningful conversations, acknowledging the societal challenges faced by women.
