Ujjivan Small Finance Bank announced that it has vaccinated close to 4,000 beneficiaries in five regions, namely Sripatipur, Parambuya, Kaikala, Anur and Sudarshan More, in Hooghly district of West Bengal.
Ujjivan SFB had conducted the vaccination camps in most rural and remote locations of the state in the three districts, namely Hooghly, North 24 Parganas and Nadia, and vaccinated about 8,750 individuals in the state of West Bengal. Ujjivan SFB has attributed the success of vaccination camp to its own employees who contributed in spreading awareness about the importance of vaccination and in mobilising individuals in Hooghly district to get vaccinated.
The Bank also announced its contribution of Rs 1000,000 to the Prime Minister Cares Fund, which is channelizing efforts to help eradicate the virus that had spread the pandemic across the country.
