In a bid to achieve the target of 100 per cent vaccination against COVID-19, on Tuesday , the Ujjain collector Ashish Singh issued an order to this effect tells government staff in Madhya Pradesh that they will not get their salaries from next month until they are not vaccinated.
A district official said, the salaries of employees for July will be disbursed only after producing the vaccination certificate. while confirming the order, on Wednesday , Singh told PTI that we are making all the efforts to get the vaccine as soon as possible. Eventhe district treasury officer has been directed to collect vaccination certificates along with the disbursement of salaries for June, and gather all the information about the vaccination of government employees against the virus infection.
Even various departments in the district were also directed to submit information about vaccination. As per the order, it was found that during the review of deaths of government employees they were not vaccinated.
