PSU lender UCO Bank on October 4 said its total advances rose 18.56 percent year-on-year to Rs 1.98 lakh crore in the second quarter of the current financial year.
Total advances of the bank were Rs 1.93 lakh crore in April-June quarter, and Rs 1.67 lakh crore in the year-ago period.
In July-September quarter, domestic advances of the lender rose to Rs 1.74 lakh crore, as compared to Rs 1.67 lakh crore in a quarter ago period and Rs 1.43 lakh crore in the year-ago period.
Domestic advances grew 21.68 percent on a yearly basis, and 4.19 percent on a quarterly basis.
Total deposits of the bank in September quarter increased 10.84 percent to Rs 2.76 lakh crore from Rs 2.49 lakh crore a year ago.
Domestic deposit in July-September quarter jumped 8.20 percent year-on-year to Rs 2.64 lakh crore. CASA domestic rose to Rs 1 lakh crore in July-September quarter, as compared to Rs 0.98 lakh crore a quarter ago, and Rs 0.93 percent in the year-ago period.
In the reporting quarter, CASA Ratio-Domestic stood at 38.24 percent, as compared to 38.62 percent in June quarter, and 38.28 percent in September quarter last year.
CD ratio of the bank stood at 71.99 percent as on September 30, as compared to 72.07 percent as on June 30, and 67.25 percent as on September 30, 2023.
