TVS Motor Company has announced the PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship (OMC) 2026 Training and Selection Programme, continuing its mission to build India’s next generation of professional racers. The nationwide trials will be held between January 17 and February 7, 2026 across Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi and Kolkata, followed by final selections at the Madras International Circuit in May. The season also marks 20 years of racing-derived engineering for the TVS Apache brand under the company’s ‘Track to Road’ philosophy.
TVS Motor Company’s Head – Premium Business, Vimal Sumbly, said the OMC is focused on “building racers, not just organising races,” with structured learning, discipline and strong safety standards. Riders will compete on race-tuned Apache motorcycles, equipped with high-grade safety gear including FIM-certified helmets and Alpinestars airbag jackets.
In Guwahati, the announcement is expected to boost interest in performance motorcycles and motorsports among young riders in the Northeast, where the TVS Apache range already enjoys strong brand recall. Local dealers say the championship reinforces the appeal of racing-inspired technology for everyday riding. Since the OMC began in 1994, TVS Racing has trained over 3,000 riders across categories, including women, rookies and media racers. Selection eligibility varies by category, with strict age criteria and podium-based exclusions for past champions. TVS Racing, with 43 years of motorsport heritage, says the 2026 season will further strengthen India’s motorsports ecosystem and make track racing more accessible and aspirational.
