TVS Motor takes Racing International Championship to Europe with Misano debut

TVS Motor Company made its European debut of the 2026 TVS Racing International Championship (TRIC) at the Misano World Circuit in Italy, marking a new phase in the company’s global motorcycle racing journey.

Held from October 2 to 4, the Italy round featured 14 racers representing 12 nationalities across four continents, competing on the race-spec TVS Apache RR 310. The European expansion comes as TVS Motor strengthens its presence across more than 90 international markets, with a focus on product innovation, premiumisation and advanced engineering.

TRIC has previously been held across Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia, covering five rounds in four countries. With Italy added to the calendar, the championship has expanded its racing footprint into Europe.

Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company, described the European debut as a defining milestone, saying the championship had evolved from an Asia-focused platform in 2022, featuring riders from nine countries, into a global platform with participants from 16 countries.

The race-spec Apache RR 310 previously recorded a top speed of 216 kmph and lap records at Thailand’s Chang International Circuit, while also posting a 2:20:80 lap time at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit.

TVS Motor said the global racing programme complements the growth of its Apache series, which has crossed seven million customers worldwide, while the Apache Owners Group has more than 500,000 members.
