TVS Motor, ALT Mobility team up to launch 3,000 electric three-wheelers in 2025–26

TVS Motor Company has partnered with ALT Mobility to deploy up to 3,000 electric three-wheelers across India in the financial year 2025–26. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will see TVS supply the vehicles while ALT Mobility handles procurement, leasing, and financing under its Drive-to-own model for both passenger and cargo transportation.

The partnership emphasizes sustainable urban and last-mile mobility, integrating ALT’s 24×7 vehicle monitoring, pre-emptive maintenance, and asset management solutions to ensure higher uptime and earnings for drivers. ALT’s all-inclusive lease plan covers maintenance, insurance, roadside assistance, servicing, challan, and fitness management, promising a hassle-free ownership experience.

Commenting on the collaboration, Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility, TVS Motor, said, “This initiative makes electric mobility accessible while positively impacting livelihoods and the environment.” Anuj Gupta, Co-founder & CBO, ALT Mobility, added that the model strengthens zero-emission logistics while supporting financial inclusion. In Guwahati, the introduction of these electric three-wheelers is expected to revolutionize local transport and delivery services, particularly in busy markets and congested urban areas, by providing clean, efficient, and cost-effective mobility solutions for both commuters and small businesses. The deployment also targets last-mile logistics and shared passenger mobility, further promoting India’s electric vehicle adoption while generating socio-economic benefits for drivers and small fleet operators.
