TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the all-new 2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, introducing upgraded features across variants to strengthen its position in the premium 160cc motorcycle segment. The updated range now gets a projector headlamp, all-LED lighting and Assist & Slipper Clutch technology across more variants, enhancing safety, night-time visibility and rider control.
The company has introduced two new variants alongside the existing top-end trim, which already features USD suspension, TFT display and traction control. The motorcycle continues to deliver best-in-class 17.55 PS power and retains key features such as three ride modes—Sport, Urban and Rain—along with TVS SmartXonnect connectivity and radial tyres for improved stability.
Speaking on the launch, Vimal Sumbly said the upgrade reflects the brand’s commitment to performance and rider-centric innovation. “We are enhancing safety, visibility and control while keeping the product accessible,” he said, adding that TVS Apache has built a global base of over 6.5 million riders. The new range is priced starting at ₹1,25,440 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Apache RTR series begins at ₹1,12,190. In Guwahati, the launch is expected to boost demand in the growing premium commuter segment, where young riders are increasingly opting for feature-rich motorcycles with racing DNA and advanced technology, strengthening TVS Motor’s foothold in Northeast India.
