Truflo by Hindware, one of India’s fastest-growing plastic pipes and fittings brands, has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, with trial production officially underway. Backed by an investment of approximately ₹170 crore, the plant boasts an initial annual capacity of 12,500 tonnes and marks the company’s third production unit.
The plant was inaugurated by Somany Impresa Group Chairman Sandip Somany and Strategy Head Shashvat Somany. The Roorkee facility will manufacture a wide range of CPVC, UPVC, SWR, and PVC pipes and fittings, along with water storage tanks. The plant is expected to generate up to 200 direct and indirect jobs, bolstering the local economy.
With this addition, Truflo’s total annual capacity rises to 80,500 TPA, strengthening its footprint across North and West India. The move is expected to significantly enhance distribution efficiency and reduce supply gaps. In Kolkata, where infrastructure growth and real estate development continue at pace, Truflo’s expanding network of over 320 distributors and 30,000 dealers is poised to meet rising demand. The company’s engagement with plumbers and consistent brand outreach adds to its competitive edge in Eastern India.
