The inaugural Toyota Greater Bengaluru Bidadi Half Marathon 2024, organized by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) in collaboration with the Bidadi Industries Association (BIA) Foundation, concluded successfully, leaving a significant mark as the first flagship event of its kind. Held at the picturesque Jollywood Studio & Adventures in Bidadi, the event garnered tremendous enthusiasm from participants across various demographics, highlighting a collective commitment to health, safety, and sustainability.
With categories ranging from 21Km to 3Km, the marathon attracted over 3000 participants, including individuals, families, and industry representatives. Under the theme “RUN FOR SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY,” the event aimed to promote health awareness and responsible road usage, resonating deeply with the region’s social fabric.Distinguished guests including Dr. S Selva Kumar, IAS, and Mrs. Geetanjali Kirloskar graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of community engagement in such initiatives. The presence of notable figures like Mrs. Anju Bobby George and Mr. Karthik Reddy further elevated the event’s stature, emphasizing the significance of sports in fostering unity and resilience.
