Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has successfully concluded its highly anticipated ‘Great 4X4 Expedition’ in the scenic North-east region. The three-day extravaganza, which took place from March 8th to 10th, 2024, brought together avid 4X4 enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience amidst the breathtaking landscapes of PRP Valley in Guwahati and various picturesque locations across Meghalaya.The event, which began its journey in May 2023, witnessed a series of expeditions across different regions of India, gaining immense popularity among 4X4 aficionados. Toyota’s primary objective has been to engage with the 4X4 community and provide unparalleled off-roading experiences showcasing the unique capabilities of its diverse SUV lineup.
The North-east expedition, featuring Toyota’s iconic vehicles such as the Hilux, LC300, Fortuner, and the Hyryder AWD, kicked off at Vivanta Guwahati. Participants embarked on an exhilarating journey through the rugged terrains of PRP Valley, known for its scenic beauty and modern art.The expedition continued into the enchanting landscapes of Meghalaya, where participants navigated through challenging off-road tracks under the expert supervision of 4X4 specialists. The event concluded with a celebration featuring cultural music and dance performances, creating a joyous ambiance for all.
Notably, environmental conservation was a key focus of the expedition, with participants contributing to tree planting efforts through the NGO Sankalpataru. Each participant received certificates for the trees planted on their behalf, with QR codes provided for tracking the growth progress.
