Toyota Foundation, WRI India collaborate on STAMP multimodal mobility study

Toyota Mobility Foundation and World Resources Institute India Ross are collaborating to release a study on multimodal mobility through the Station Access and Mobility Program (STAMP). The study, conducted in Nagpur, Delhi, and Bengaluru, presents findings and recommendations based on extensive research.

TMF and WRI India collaborate to promote mobility through innovation, data-driven research, and stakeholder engagement. STAMP, launched in 2016, improves urban metro accessibility and alleviates congestion. Through evidence-based research, stakeholder capacity building, and innovation, they empower those impacted by mobility challenges.

To commemorate this progress a White Paper on STAMP program will be released by WRIon’s “Connect Karo 2023” event in New Delhi, the event will showcase the findings, learnings and entrepreneurs solutions, Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Pras Ganesh, Executive Program Director, Asia Region, Toyota Mobility Foundation said, “By enhancing accessibility, information dissemination, infrastructure, operations, and payment integration, we are committed to creating a truly mobile society where transportation is safe, inclusive, and sustainable for all.”TMF, Challenge Works, and WRI launch $9 Million Global City Challenge for safe, inclusive, sustainable mobility innovation, reducing carbon, and enhancing data-driven transport systems.
