Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) achieved its highest CY performance in 2023, selling 2,33,346 units, marking a 46% year-on-year growth. Of this total, Domestic sales accounted for 221,356 units, while exports comprised 11,984 units. In CY 2022, the company sold a total of 160,364 units in the domestic market. In December 2023, TKM sold 22,867 units, with a growth of 119% compared to 10,421 units sold in December 2022. TKM sold 21,372 units in the domestic market, while 1495 units of The Urban Cruiser Hyryder were exported.
The robust sales momentum was attributed to the company’s customer-friendly initiatives, such as the complimentary Roadside Assistance Program for 5 years. The consistent month-on-month performance and year-round upward trend indicate a growing customer interest in all TKM’s car line-ups. Popular models like the Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, New Innova Crysta, and Glanza continue to drive growth. Customer connect events like the “Great 4X4 Expedition by Toyota” have enhanced SUV’s appeal.
