Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the introduction of six airbags as standard across all variants of the Toyota Glanza. The update reflects a rising trend in the Indian auto market where consumer preference is shifting towards safety-equipped, value-driven models. To further enhance customer appeal, TKM has also unveiled a limited-period ‘Prestige Package’—available until July 31, 2025. The package includes dealer-fitted accessories like premium door visors, chrome-accented body mouldings, illuminated door sills, and a rear skid plate, aimed at improving both aesthetics and comfort.
With over two lakh units sold in six years, the Glanza remains a strong performer. It offers up to 22.94 km/l (AMT) and 30.61 km/kg (CNG), and includes segment-leading features like a 9-inch infotainment system, Head-Up Display, and Toyota i-Connect with 45+ features.
Where customer demand is growing for safe and tech-savvy hatchbacks, local dealerships expect the upgraded Glanza to perform well. The added safety features and stylish new package are likely to attract young professionals and families alike. The refreshed Glanza starts at ₹6.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
