Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 23,590 units in September 2023, a 53% increase from the previous year, marking a record sales of 15,378 units. The total sales included domestic units of 22,168 and exports of 1,422 units. In August, the company achieved its highest monthly wholesale figures ever at 22,910 units.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) experienced a 35% growth in sales in the first six months of the current fiscal year, selling 1,23,939 units compared to 91,843 units last year. This success is attributed to the continued success of Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s recent models, including Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Hilux, and the New Rumion. The Hilux, a global icon, is designed for off-roading adventures and everyday city use.
TKM has maintained its segment leadership with the New Innova Crysta, Fortuner, and Legender models, as well as the Camry Hybrid and Glanza. Mr. Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales, and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “We are certain that our value-added services like the newly introduced 5-Years of Complimentary Roadside Assistance Program and specialised schemes will enable patrons to realise their dreams of owning a Toyota vehicle whilst ensuring a joyful ownership experience for existing customers.”
