TKM Initiates Health Check drive for School Children in Ramanagara

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Toyota Shaale Arogya Program (TSAP) in Ramanagara district, focusing on child health and community well-being. Launched in 2019, TSAP is part of TKM’s comprehensive approach to healthcare and hygiene awareness among government school students.

The program involves comprehensive medical checkups for students, addressing issues like anemia, malnutrition, and visual and hearing impairments. Depending on the diagnosis, students are provided with corrective measures like spectacles, hearing aids, healthcare supplements, or referral to a tertiary healthcare center.

Health and hygiene awareness sessions are also provided to equip students with the knowledge necessary for maintaining good health. TSAP has reached over 10,000 children in 180 schools within the Ramanagara district. Country Head and Executive Vice President, Mr. Vikram Gulati, emphasized the program’s commitment to community well-being and the belief that sustainable progress begins with the well-being of children and communities.
