The Vibrant Gujarat roadshow, led by Shri MulubhaiBera, the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Cultural Activities, Forest and Environment, Climate Change, Government of Gujarat, concluded in Guwahati on November 24, 2023. The event attracted industry leaders and senior officials from the Gujarat government to explore collaboration and cooperation across sectors such as tourism, hospitality, IT, semiconductors, electronics, aerospace, defense, biotechnology, and chemical & petrochemicals.
The roadshow also aimed to attract investments in future-ready mega projects like GIFT City, Dholera SIR, and Biotech Park. Ahead of the roadshow, Shri MulubhaiBera, held one-on-one meetings. The event began with a welcome address by Shri Bhaskar Phukan, Vice Chairman – CII Assam Council & Managing Director, Numaligarh Refinery Ltd.
The roadshow featured audio-visual films on Vibrant Gujarat, Dholera SIR, and GIFT City and presentations on business opportunities in Gujarat. Despite their geographical distance, Shri MulubhaiBera also delivered an address highlighting the cultural and economic similarities between Gujarat and Assam. He extended an invitation for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, urging investments in Gujarat and active involvement in the nation’s development journey.
