Mumbai had two large fires on Monday, burning numerous warehouses and badly injuring an elderly woman. Neither incident resulted in any reported fatalities. Famous playback singer Shaan resides on the eleventh floor of Fortune Enclave, a residential complex in Bandra West, where a huge fire started on the seventh floor. Following the event, an 80-year-old woman who was having trouble breathing was pulled off the premises. Hospital officials said she is in critical condition after being admitted to a private hospital. Around 7:00 PM on Monday, this fire broke out in the godown next to the Ayyappa temple in the Mandala neighborhood. After a few hours, the operation was finished, with four fire engines sent in to address the problem. Thirty to forty warehouses were destroyed in the fire, but no one was hurt.
