No chance of heavy rain. However, light to moderate scattered rain is likely in all districts of South Bengal on Wednesday. Thunderstorms are also forecast in some districts. On the other hand, the Alipore Meteorological Department issued the warning for North Bengal. In particular, there is a yellow warning of heavy to very heavy rain in five northern districts.
According to the weather office, there is no chance of any change in the weather of South Bengal in the next four to five days. Almost all southern districts will be drenched with light to moderate rain. But there is no possibility of continuous rain anywhere. The Alipore Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder in Hooghly, Birbhum, Murshidabad, and Nadia.
The sky in Kolkata will be generally cloudy on Wednesday. Scattered rain may occur at a few places in the city. At the same time, wind may blow again somewhere. It is reported that the maximum temperature of Kolkata will hover around 32 degrees and the minimum temperature will hover around 27 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The maximum temperature in the city was 32 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. A minimum of 27.3 degrees Celsius, which is 0.8 degrees Celsius above normal.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in some districts of North Bengal on Wednesday as well. Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Kalimpong, and Cooch Behar are under yellow warning of heavy rain. The weather office has predicted 7 to 11 cm of rain at scattered places in these districts. Heavy rain is likely in these five districts till next Friday. Apart from this, there will be more or less rain in the rest of the districts.
