On Friday, the BTC Executive Council met for the first time in New Delhi. CEM Pramod Boro presided over the EC meeting, which took place in the conference room of Bodoland House in Kailash Colony, New Delhi. The meeting covered Bitcoin’s overall development across all domains. The EC meeting focused on inclusive and comprehensive development for all communities in the region, Chief of BTC Pramod Boro later told reporters. He stated that through skill development and entrepreneurship training, the BTR government aimed to open up employment opportunities for young people without jobs.
Eleven ITIs in BTC will be transformed into training-cum-production centres, he said, and the government would establish organic training and production facilities in 420 VCDCs. He added that in addition to encouraging adventure tourism, the council administration was planning to expand homestay and tourist resorts in three national parks: Manas National Park, Raimana National Park, and Sikhna Jwhwlao National Park. They also planned to build a paragliding centre in the Dangdufur highlands.
According to Boro, the council’s goal with the Bodoland Green Mission was to replace single-use plastic with biodegradable alternatives. He added that the BTC would become a fully organic region in five years by providing instruction on organic culture in 420 VCDCs.
