Satyam Roychowdhury, Founder and Managing Director of Techno India Group and Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, has been awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Academician of 2024 by the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts, Turin, Italy. The accolade, presented in Kolkata, makes Mr. Roychowdhury the first Indian to be honored by the renowned Italian state institution under the Ministry of University and Research (MIUR).
The ceremony witnessed the presence of Chief Guest H.E. Riccardo Dalla Costa, Consul General of Italy in Kolkata, and distinguished representatives from the Albertina Academy. Mr. Roychowdhury’s four decades of contributions to education and the arts were lauded by Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of Sister Nivedita University, who called it a “moment of immense pride for the nation.”
