TCS and Karnataka Government announces the winners of the 24th TCS Rural IT Quiz

Tata Consultancy Services and the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, announced the winners of the 24th edition of TCS Rural IT Quiz, held on November 30, 2023. Udit Pratap Singh from BSP Senior Secondary School, Bhilai Chhattisgarh was the winner in the national finals and Vignesh Nauso Shetye from Dr. K.B. Hedgewar Vidyamandir, Bicholim Goa was the runner up.

 TCS awarded educational scholarships of Rs 100,000 to the Winner and Rs 50,000 to the Runner-up. The finalists also received scholarships from TCS.The finalists received scholarships from TCS and awards were presented by Hon’ble Minister for IT & BT, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Govt. of Karnataka.

TCS, in partnership with the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, has been organizing the Rural IT Quiz since 2000. The program aims to increase IT awareness among students in smaller towns and districts, reaching over 21 million students and being recognized by the Limca Book of Records as the first IT Quiz for rural students in India.
