Tata Tea Jaago Re launches AI campaign to combat climate change through collective actions

Tata Tea Jaago Re has launched its latest initiative aimed at fighting climate change through collective actions. The AI-powered campaign, ‘Har Green Action Se Farak Padega,’ encourages individuals to adopt small but impactful “green actions” in their daily routines to help combat the climate crisis. In partnership with Google Cloud’s AI suite, the campaign leverages an innovative WhatsApp-based tool that allows users to upload images of their actions—such as using a lid while cooking or opting for public transport—and instantly see the positive environmental impact of their efforts.

The initiative is designed to counter the widespread apathy towards climate change by providing tangible evidence that small actions can lead to meaningful change. For every 10 green actions completed by consumers, Tata Tea commits to planting a tree. The campaign is highlighted through a powerful film that depicts children leading the way with simple actions, reinforcing the message that collective efforts can make a difference. In Guwahati, the market is increasingly receptive to sustainability initiatives, with consumers becoming more conscious of their environmental footprint. The Jaago Re campaign resonates with local consumers, who are keen to contribute to global sustainability efforts, reflecting a growing trend of eco-consciousness in the region.
