Tata Tea Agni, a leading tea brand in Bihar and Jharkhand, is honoring Chhath Puja this year by highlighting the ancient art of Sikki Grass Craft. The campaign, designed to resonate with regional pride and cultural heritage, includes the launch of a limited edition festive pack series inspired by this intricate craft.
To kick off the Chhath Puja festivities, Tata Tea Agni Leaf hosted the ‘Sikki Kala Mahotsav’ at City Centre Mall on November 4th and 5th, showcasing a stunning life-sized installation made from Sikki grass. This installation, crafted by local artisans, features figurines representing the four key days of the festival: Nahay Khay, Kharna, Sandhya Arghya, and Usha Arghya, encapsulating the essence of the celebrations.
The event also included live demonstrations by artisans, allowing visitors to witness the meticulous crafting process. Puneet Das, President of Packaged Beverages at Tata Consumer Products, expressed pride in supporting Bihar’s heritage. He emphasized the brand’s commitment to fostering cultural connections among its consumers, where local traditions are deeply valued. The festive initiative not only celebrates the season but also encourages a sense of community and regional identity.
