Tata Motors has introduced the Tata Sierra 2025 at an initial price of ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). At present, the company has revealed pricing only for the base Smart+ variant of this new 5-seater SUV, with the full price list for all trims to be released next month. The Sierra 2025 will be offered in seven variants — Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+. Here’s what the Smart+ trim provides at its entry-level price.
Specifications
The Smart+ variant can be equipped with either a 1.5-litre Revotron naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 106PS and 145Nm, or a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine delivering 118PS and 260/280Nm. The petrol unit offers both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCA gearbox, while the diesel option comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque-converter automatic. However, the ₹11.49 lakh version includes the petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Features
Exterior highlights include Bi-LED projector headlamps, Light Saber LED DRLs and taillamps, LED indicators, follow-me-home lamps, adjustable ORVMs, flush door handles with welcome lighting, an electric tailgate release and a dual-tone roof. Inside, it features a 4-inch digital cockpit, rear AC vents, a sliding armrest, extended sunvisors, a prismatic IRVM, power windows, illuminated steering controls and dual front USB ports.
The SUV comes in six colours, though Smart+ is limited to Pristine White, Pure Grey and Coorg Cloud. Bookings begin December 16, with deliveries starting January 15, 2026.
