Tata Salt launches immuno variant, blend health and innovation

Tata Salt, a stalwart in India’s iodised salt market, reinforces its commitment to national health with the launch of Tata Salt Immuno. This new offering, enriched with zinc alongside iodine, marks a pioneering step in the edible salt segment. Zinc, known for its role in bolstering immune health, is seamlessly integrated into Tata Salt’s renowned ‘Desh ki Sehat, Desh ka Namak’ lineup.

Since its inception in 1983, Tata Salt has been at the forefront of combating Iodine Deficiency Disorders (IDD), earning acclaim for its efforts in raising awareness nationwide. Deepika Bhan, President of Packaged Foods – India at Tata Consumer Products, emphasized the product’s nutritional benefits, stating, “Tata Salt Immuno is formulated to provide essential nutrients like zinc without compromising on taste, encouraging consumers to make informed dietary choices.”

The launch coincides with global initiatives like Salt Awareness Week, where Tata Salt Immuno advocates for responsible salt consumption.
