In Kolkata, the growth reflects improving infrastructure activity and logistics movement in eastern India. Dealers reported steady demand for HCV and SCV categories, supported by highway expansion, mining projects and rising cargo volumes. Market sentiment remains positive going into the next quarter.

Tata Motors MD & CEO Girish Wagh said the momentum from GST 2.0 and festive demand continued into Q3, boosting construction, mining and logistics activity. He added that government infrastructure spending and sectoral expansion are expected to further support growth in Q4FY26, positioning the company for continued strong performance.
