Tata Motors recorded a total sales of 234,981 units in Q3FY24, with a YoY increase of 1% in CV sales and 5% in PV sales. Domestic sales of MH&ICV in Dec 2023, was 16,851 units vs 15,244 units in Dec 2022; In Q3 FY24 it was 44,365 units, compared to 40,391 units in Q3 FY23. Domestic & International sales for MH&ICV in Dec 2023 was 17,591 units vs 15,756 units in Dec 2022; while in Q3 FY24 it stood at 46,534 units vs 42,369 units in Q3 FY23.
In Q3FY24, wholesales reached 138,455 units, up 5% from Q3FY23. Retail sales increased Vahan registrations by approximately 14% and 24%, respectively. The company strengthened its market position by reducing channel stock and receiving excellent market response to the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari models.
Sales of emission-friendly EV and iCNG products also saw significant growth, with EV sales posting a 21% increase compared to Q3FY23, and the CNG segment saw a substantial 214% growth.
