Tata Motors drives passenger mobility expansion with next-generation bus portfolio

Tata Motors reinforced its leadership in the commercial passenger vehicle segment by unveiling its next-generation mobility portfolio at Prawaas 5.0, launching the new Ultra Prime and StarbusPrime range of buses alongside a comprehensive lineup of CNG and electric mobility solutions. The move reflects the company’s strategic focus on strengthening its presence across school, staff, tourism, intercity, intracity and last-mile transportation markets.

The expanded portfolio includes the LPO 1620 CNG, Ultra Prime LPO 412, Ultra Skool 9/9 EV, Magic EV, Winger Plus and the Ultra Prime RE Concept. The new bus range offers refreshed styling, enhanced interiors, improved ride quality and 29 advanced safety technologies, including a Driver Monitoring System, 360-degree camera, Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and Reverse Park Assist System (RPAS). The Ultra Skool 9/9 EV features fast-charging capability and an optional paint scheme for neurodivergent children, while the Magic EV delivers a range of up to 120 km for zero-emission last-mile mobility. The portfolio is supported by Tata Motors’ nationwide network of over 4,600 sales and service touchpoints, SampoornaSeva 2.0, Fleet Management Solutions and Tata Genuine Parts to improve fleet uptime and lifecycle value.
