Tata Motors Limited reported robust performance in October 2025, registering total commercial vehicle sales of 37,530 units, marking a 10% year-on-year growth compared to 34,259 units in October 2024. The company witnessed broad-based demand across categories reflecting improved economic and logistics activity. In key segments, HCV trucks rose 7% to 10,737 units, ILMCV trucks grew 6% to 6,169 units, and passenger carriers surged 12% to 3,184 units. The SCV cargo and pickup segment registered a 7% increase at 15,018 units, highlighting continued traction in last-mile transportation. Domestic commercial vehicle sales stood at 35,108 units, up 7%, while international business recorded a significant 56% jump to 2,422 units.
Domestic MH&ICV sales reached 16,624 units, up from 15,574 units last year, while combined domestic and international MH&ICV sales rose to 17,827 units from 16,274 units.
Fleet operators and logistics firms in Kolkata reported steady demand for light and medium commercial vehicles driven by festival-season deliveries, retail stocking, and infrastructure works. Regional transporters noted rising interest in fuel-efficient and fleet-management-enabled models, suggesting continued market momentum going into the winter trading cycle.
