Tata Consumer posts 12% revenue growth in Q1, profit jumps 29%

Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (TCPL) reported a strong performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with consolidated revenue from operations rising 12 per cent year-on-year to Rs 5,349 crore, driven by robust volume growth across its India branded business and continued momentum in its growth categories. Consolidated EBITDA increased 19 per cent to Rs 730 crore, while net profit climbed 29 per cent to Rs 427 crore during the quarter. The company’s India branded business posted an underlying volume growth of 13 per cent, led by a 47 per cent surge in its growth businesses, which now account for 36 per cent of the India portfolio. Salt revenue rose 7 per cent, coffee revenue grew 24 per cent, TataSampann recorded a 58 per cent increase, while the ready-to-drink beverages segment expanded 41 per cent. Capital Foods and Organic India also registered strong growth of 40 per cent and 27 per cent, respectively. During the quarter, the company introduced 14 new products, including new Tetley Kombucha Zero variants.

International business revenue grew 16 per cent, supported by strong demand in the US market, while Tata Starbucks posted an 11 per cent revenue increase and expanded its network to 498 stores across India. In Guwahati, the company’s continued focus on packaged foods, health and wellness products, beverages and premium offerings is expected to strengthen its presence in Assam and the wider Northeast. Rising urban consumption, increasing demand for branded staples, ready-to-drink beverages and convenience foods, along with the region’s growing organised retail network, could provide Tata Consumer Products with additional growth opportunities in the Guwahati market.

Commenting on the results, Managing Director and CEO Sunil D’Souza said the company delivered another quarter of double-digit topline growth backed by strong volume gains, with innovation, category expansion and execution continuing to drive sustainable profitable growth across its core and emerging businesses.
