TAFE launches JFarm Rajasthan to boost farm productivity, strengthen sustainable practices

Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), one of the world’s largest tractor manufacturers, inaugurated its adaptive research centre, JFarm Rajasthan, at Bhawani Mandi on April 2, 2026, aimed at enhancing farm productivity and empowering farmers through sustainable practices.

The facility was inaugurated by Sandeep Sinha in the presence of local government representatives, dealer partners and farmers, with opening remarks by T. R. Kesavan. The state-of-the-art centre includes a Customer Experience Centre for live product demonstrations, a Product Training Centre for hands-on technical training, and a Farmer Interaction Center focused on knowledge sharing and modern agricultural techniques.

TAFE said the integrated ecosystem will provide real-time demonstrations and insights into crop production, protection and farm mechanisation suited to Indian conditions. The initiative aims to transform Rajasthan’s agricultural landscape into a more productive and sustainable ecosystem through active farmer participation.

Vice Chairman Lakshmi Venu said the centre reflects TAFE’s commitment to combining technology, sustainability and practical training to support farmers. JFarm, established in 1964 in Chennai, is a CSR initiative, with Rajasthan becoming its third such facility in India.
