On Saturday, Assam flood situation worsen in the state, earlier many villages of the state were affected and people were left homeless.
Now, according to recent updates, over 4.88 lakh people have been affected so far, with 2 deaths drowned during the flood.
Meanwhile, the Central Water Commission (CWC) said the Brahmaputra River has been flowing above the danger level mark in Jorhat and Dhubri.
Also, the water levels of the rivers Puthimari and Pagladiya have crossed the red mark in Kamrup and Nalbari.
