It has been made clear by the government that states and union territories cannot “dilute” the guidelines given on the nationwide lockdown to control the spread of coronavirus.The center clearly said that no state can allow it’s own activities during the lockdown period. In a letter to states and union territories, the Union Home Secretary said that only those activities permitted by the centre would be allowed from today in some parts of the country which are least affected by coronavirus.The states can take stricter actions if they want, the centre said.
