SS Rajamouli’s RRR has been breaking box office records ever since its release. The Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer has maintained its strong hold at the ticket window against new releases like Attack. The movie earned Rs 900 crore at the box office beating the records of PK and 2.0. It became the fifth Indian film to do so.
“RRR in the Hindi version saw its first big drop in its run as it collected around 7 crores by the second Monday. Collections are good but usually it is expected to drop by 25-30% on the second Monday for an established well appreciated film. Here the drop is around 45%,” said a report by Box Office India.
“After eleven days the film’s collection is 190 crore nett and it will cross Suryavanshi today (Tuesday) and reach the 200 crore nett mark on Wednesday,” the report said.
RRR is the highest-grosser of the year after its collection dropped on Monday and is unlikely to beat Kashmir Files but it is sure to beat Suryavanshi everywhere.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed that the film will cross the Rs 200 crore mark.
