Srijan Realty, one of Eastern India’s leading real estate developers, has announced the fifth edition of its cultural initiative, Srijan Sharad Purashkar (SSP), honouring the festive spirit of Bengal with the theme “Shobuj Sharadiya – Tradition Meets Responsibility.” Launched in 2019, the award recognises the creativity and community spirit of housing society pujas in Kolkata. From 150 participants in its debut year, SSP has expanded to more than 300 housing societies across the city and 38 associations of Non-Resident Bengalis worldwide. In 2024, the initiative reached over 1.15 million digital viewers globally, making it a much-anticipated cultural platform.
This year’s edition focuses on eco-consciousness, urging participants to create installations and decorations from recycled materials and e-waste. The effort aims to blend tradition with sustainability while inspiring collective responsibility during Durga Puja celebrations.
Keshav Agarwal, Director of Srijan Realty, said, “Srijan Sharad Purashkar has always been more than an award — it is a celebration of cultural pride, unity, and creativity. As we mark five years, our focus on sustainability ensures that tradition and responsibility go hand in hand for future generations.” Over time, SSP has evolved from a local recognition platform into a global cultural movement that fuses heritage with environmental responsibility.
