Sprite, Coca-Cola’s lemon-lime flavoured beverage brand, has launched ‘Sprite Truth & Spice’, an eight-episode digital entertainment series that combines celebrity pairings, spicy food, challenges and candid conversations.
Marking Sprite’s first foray into the game-show format, the series draws on India’s affinity for spicy food and authentic conversations. The episodes feature personalities including comedian Aaditya Kulshreshth, popularly known as Kullu, travel creator Larissa D’sa, digital creator Shreya Kalra with Rishabh Jaiswal, cricketer Arshdeep Singh with Samreen Kaur, music producer and singer-songwriter Garv Taneja with Nandini Nayal, actors Shantanu Maheshwari and Shruti Sinha, Varun Sood and Vihaan Samat, stand-up comedians Swati Sachdeva and Gurleen Pannu, and Nayani Pavani with Mehaboob Dil Se.
Two episodes are being presented in association with Tinder, with the partnership focusing on connection, conversation and shared experiences among young audiences.
Sumeli Chatterjee, Category Head – Sparkling Flavours, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, said the format brings together spicy food, truth-or-dare elements and Sprite or Sprite Zero in a social entertainment experience.
In Kolkata, the series is expected to align with the city’s strong food culture and growing consumption of digital-first entertainment, particularly among younger audiences. The association of celebrity content with food-led challenges could provide Sprite with an opportunity to strengthen consumer engagement in the eastern market.
The trailer has premiered, with weekly episodes scheduled from September 17 to November 5 on Sprite’s YouTube channel, supported by creator collaborations and social-first content.
