Sony unveils 98-inch BRAVIA 5 in India, targets high-end home cinema market

Sony India has launched its biggest-ever television, the 249 cm (98-inch) BRAVIA 5 mini-LED, promising a premium “Cinema is Coming Home” experience. Priced at ₹6,49,990, the model (K-98XR55A) is available from July 23 onwards, with launch offers including a ₹25,000 cashback on select cards and a fixed EMI option of ₹19,995. The BRAVIA 5 features Sony’s Advanced AI Processor XR and XR Backlight Master Drive, enhancing realism with brighter highlights, deeper blacks, and immersive textures.
